Rok Bogataj is born in 1968 in Ljubljana. Graduates at the Ljubljana Faculty of Architecture in 1997. With a group of authors receives the second prize at the Europan international competition in 1998. Cooperates with the artist Marjetica Potrc with her exhibitions in Kassel, Sao Paolo, Berlin and London and receives the first prize in the competition for the Nobel Peace Centre in Oslo and a prize at the competition or the Graffenegg Park in Vienna. Freelance architect in Ljubljana since 1998. In 2002 founds the architectural studio Nova stran together with Vlatka LJubanovic. Member of DANS architects since 2004.
